Description

A simple part of the evening routine

As the day draws to a close, the body’s production of melatonin follows the transition from light to darkness. Melatonin is a hormone that helps regulate the circadian rhythm. SHIFT™ Sleep Spray combines melatonin with extracts of ashwagandha and passion flower in a spray that is taken orally at bedtime.

Melatonin helps to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep. The beneficial effect is achieved by taking 1 mg of melatonin at bedtime. Ashwagandha and passion flower are plants with long traditions of use in connection with rest and relaxation. The spray format makes the product easy to take as part of your evening routine.

Did you know that?

  • Approximately 1/3 of adults struggle with sleep on a weekly basis.
  • Melatonin is a sleep-enhancing hormone that is produced and secreted from the pineal gland in the brain when the sun sets and darkness arrives.
  • Artificial light from laptops, mobile phones and TV screens can reduce the secretion of melatonin and therefore negatively affect the circadian rhythm.

More information

Melatonin is a hormone that the body produces in sync with the circadian rhythm. Its secretion usually increases when it gets dark, and light in the evening can affect this signal. Melatonin helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep when taken at bedtime.

SHIFT™ Sleep Spray also contains extracts of ashwagandha ( Withania somnifera ) and passion flower ( Passiflora incarnata ). Ashwagandha has a long tradition in Ayurvedic use, while passion flower has traditionally been used in connection with calm and rest. Together with melatonin, they make up the spray's ingredient combination.
