SHIFT™ Natural-C provides you with vitamin C from organically grown amla berries. The berry concentrate also contains naturally occurring bioflavonoids and polyphenols – several of the same compounds found along with vitamin C in the berry itself.

Vitamin C is often associated with the immune system, but it has many functions in the body. It contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the nervous system, normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal psychological function. The vitamin is also necessary for the normal formation of collagen, which is important for, among other things, skin, bones, cartilage, gums and teeth. In addition, vitamin C helps protect cells from oxidative stress, reduce tiredness and fatigue and increase the absorption of iron.

Orgen-C® amla extract (Emblica officinalis), bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide), surfactant (hypromellose, polydextrose, medium chain triglycerides), anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, tricalcium phosphate).

• Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Since the body cannot produce the vitamin itself, we must obtain it through food or supplements.
• Vitamin C also has an important role in the skin. It contributes to the normal formation of collagen, a protein that is important for the normal function of the skin.
• Vitamin C is water-soluble. The body absorbs a smaller proportion at high doses, and some of the excess is excreted in the urine. However, this does not mean that it is beneficial to take unlimited amounts.
• Humans are among the mammals that cannot produce their own vitamin C. The same applies to guinea pigs and some bats, among others. Most other mammals can make the vitamin themselves.

Vitamin C is found naturally in fruits, berries and vegetables, along with polyphenols and bioflavonoids. In SHIFT™ Natural-C, the vitamin comes from organically grown amla berries, also known as Indian gooseberries. The berries are hand-picked and gently processed into a concentrated powder. This way, you get vitamin C from the berry along with other naturally occurring compounds from amla.

Large quantities of fresh berries are used to produce the raw material: Over one ton of hand-picked amla berries are used to make 2 kg of concentrate. Each tablet contains this berry concentrate and provides vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune and nervous systems, as well as to normal energy metabolism.
