Amla berries
SHIFT™ Natural C is extracted from hand-picked amla berries (also known as
amalica berries or Indian gooseberries). These berries are rich in
vitamin C, as well as bioflavanoids and various polyphenols. To
produce 2 kg of concentrated raw material of SHIFT™ Natural-C, over one
ton of hand-picked fresh gooseberries are used. The raw material thus contains the
same nutrients that are found naturally in the amla berry. Since
no artificial fertilizers or chemical pesticides are used during
cultivation, this is a pure raw material full of important antioxidants.
Green oats
Green oats are rich in various plant substances such as terpenes, polyphenols and phenolic acids. These substances have a variety of functions in the body depending on which substance is extracted. Some of the substances have been shown to affect neurotransmitters in the brain and increase dopamine and serotonin levels, such as the raw material in SHIFT™ Focus. While in other cases, green oats can have positive effects on stomach and gut function, as in SHIFT™ Stomach.
Bentonite mineral clay
The raw material BentoHealth in SHIFT™ Stomach is purified Bentonite, which consists of the clay type
montmorillonite. This is an absorbent mineral clay formed by
the decomposition of volcanic ash and is only found in certain parts of the world. The clay is triple purified and is included in supplements for stomach and intestinal function. BentoHealth has a number of protective and stabilizing effects in the stomach and intestines in addition to detoxifying. As it is a mineral clay, it is also rich in trace minerals and silica.
Omega-3 from algae oil
Algae oil is at the bottom of the food chain and is therefore a sustainable and natural source of EPA,
DPA and DHA. The oil is also pure as it is not exposed to various environmental toxins like other omega-3 sources from the ocean, and it has naturally low oxidation parameters, as well as a neutral taste and smell. SHIFT™ Omega-3 uses the selected microalgae Schizochytrium sp, which is naturally very rich in EPA, DPA and DHA. These fatty acids are important for a number of functions in the body, including the heart, brain, vision and for anti-inflammatory effects.

Mucuna Pruriens
Mucuna pruriens, also known as Juck bean or velvet bean, is an extract that
naturally contains l-levodpoa (l-dopa). This is one of the few substances that can cross the
blood-brain barrier and lead to increased dopamine secretion. Dopamine is a
neurotransmitter that is important for the brain's reward and motivation system, increasing
feelings of pleasure and well-being and sharpening the mind.
The raw material Mucuna Pruriens is found in SHIFT™Calm and SHIFT™ Mann.
Melatonin
Melatonin is a sleep-inducing hormone that ensures a stable circadian rhythm and makes it easier to fall asleep. Exposure to artificial light during the evening, such as laptops, mobile phones and TV screens, can reduce the secretion of melatonin and therefore negatively affect the circadian rhythm, making it more difficult to fall asleep. Low production and low secretion of melatonin can lead to problems falling asleep, waking up during the night or waking up before you are rested in the morning. Therefore, melatonin can be taken via supplements.
Melatonin can be found in SHIFT™ Melatonin and SHIFT™ Sleep Spray.
Aswhaganda
Ashwagandha is a common herbal medicine in traditional Ayurvedic health practices. Ashwagandha is attributed with an adaptogenic effect, which means that it can help to restore various bodily functions that are out of balance, and can have a balancing effect. The herb contains a number of active substances, including withanolides, which are said to have relaxing and balancing effects, as well as the substance triethylene glycol, which has been shown to help people fall asleep faster and improve the quality of sleep after ingestion.
Ashwagandha is found inSHIFT™Sleep Spray.
Passion flower
Passionflower is known for its calming and relaxing properties, and is thus frequently used in supplements related to sleep. Passionflower and its extracts are said to affect the levels of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, which in turn can lead to relaxation and faster falling asleep.
Passionflower is found inSHIFT™Sleep Spray.
Curcumin
Curcumin is known to be anti-inflammatory and a strong antioxidant. SHIFT™ Cur cumin has a high content of active curcuminoids per daily dose, which the body easily absorbs and utilizes. This is due to a technology called LipiSperse, which effectively increases the bioavailability of curcumin without adding unnecessary additives.
The curcumin raw material is also found in SHIFT™ Joints.

Lemon balm has traditionally been used in folk medicine as a sedative. Nowadays, lemon balm is best known as an herb that can have relaxing, calming effects, which is also described in clinical studies.
Lemon balm is found in SHIFT™ Calm.
Green tea
Green tea (Camellia sinensis) is known for its calming and relaxing effects, without being sedative. It is particularly rich in the amino acid L-theanine. L-theanine has been shown to help increase levels of serotonin and dopamine, which in turn affect the brain's reward and motivation system, contributing to a feeling of relaxation and well-being, but also mental clarity and focus. The green tea extract in SHIFT™ Calm contains as much as 40% l-theanine.
Saffron
Saffron comes from the orange stems inside the saffron crocus flower and is one
of the most precious spices available. SHIFT™ Calm contains a specially concentrated saffron extract based on the two active ingredients in saffron; crocin and safranal. These active ingredients have been shown in a number of clinical studies to help reduce stress-related
emotions and have a positive effect on mood
Seaweed, Ascophyllum nodosum
Pigweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) is a natural and sustainable source of iodine. The seaweed is grown and harvested in the fresh and clear lochs of the Outer Scottish Hebrides. This pigweed (PureSea) is of very high quality as it is grown, harvested and dried under low temperatures, before being ground into a fine granulate using the manufacturer's special technology. This results in a high-quality iodine product with a high content of essential minerals, including iodine.
The raw material is found in SHIFT™ Focus and SHIFT™ Iodine.
Digestive enzymes
Digestive enzymes are substances that help the body to efficiently break down the food we eat to avoid indigestion. SHIFT™ Zym is specially developed for a Nordic diet and contains specific vegetable enzymes for the digestion and breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. The proteins are broken down into easily absorbable peptides and amino acids by the enzymes. Starch, fiber and indigestible carbohydrates are broken down into sugars, which the body can make use of, and lipase, which helps to break down fats from food.
Digestive enzymes are also found in SHIFT™ Zym Milk & Gluten.
CBD
In the body, we have a complex cell signaling system called the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is a regulatory system linked to the major organs, the immune and nervous system and areas of the brain. The ECS plays a role in almost all primary physiological functions. The system has receptors throughout the body, including in skin cells and nerve fibers. Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, binds and interacts with the endocannabinoid system, affecting its regulation and activity.
CBD is found in SHIFT™ CBD Magnesium oil.
Bacopa monnieri Brahmi
Bacopa Monnieri is an Indian herb traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a cognitive enhancer. The traditional uses of Bacopa Monnieri have been confirmed through modern clinical research. The raw material Bacognize® in SHIFT™ Focus contains bacopa glycosides and can improve cognitive function in the form of increased focus, attention, working memory, multitasking and stress management.
L-serine
L-serine is an amino acid that the body depends on to maintain important functions in the brain and central nervous system. These include the synthesis of phosphatidylserine, which is an important component of brain cell membranes, and thus important for memory and normal brain health. It has been shown that the level of l-serine decreases with increasing age, so a supply via diet or supplements may therefore be appropriate.
L-serine is found in SHIFT™ Focus.
Palmitoylethanolamide, PEA
PEA is a fatty acid derivative that has been shown in a number of studies to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties by down-regulating a number of different inflammatory processes in the body. In addition, PEA supports the endocannabinoid system in the body, similar to the substance cannabidiol (CBD). The PEA ingredient in SHIFT™ Joint, Levagen+ has been studied in two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials on adult joint pain and osteoarthritis symptoms with good efficacy.
Vegetable chondroitin
Chondroitin is an important component of articular cartilage and can maintain fluid and flexibility in the joints. It also preserves hyaluronic acid, which is part of the synovial fluid. The raw material Phytodroitin™ used in SHIFT™ Joint is of plant origin and contains carefully selected polysaccharide-rich algae extracts consisting of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. Phytodroitin™ is a vegan alternative to chondroitin, which is typically sourced from shark cartilage, which is unsustainable.
