DPA

Docosahexaenoic acid (DPA) is an omega-3 fatty acid that belongs to the same family as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). It is mainly found in marine sources such as oily fish, including salmon and mackerel. Although DPA has not been as extensively studied as EPA and DHA, some research findings show that it may have potential health benefits.

DPA has been linked to cardiovascular health, as it can affect lipids and inflammation in the body. In addition, it has been suggested that DPA may play a role in supporting joint health and reducing inflammation.

Although more research is needed to fully understand the potential of DPA, the presence of this omega-3 fatty acid emphasizes the importance of the inclusion of varied marine food sources in the diet to support overall health and well-being.
